The company is intended to operate primarily online, but also to be supported by small retail outlets to help build brand awareness, and allow first time customers the opportunity to get to know the products.

This was an contract consulting role held while we were searching for an appropriate fulltime candidate.

Major clients and projects:
Creation and launch of a new Australian based fashion label "DiVARD".
Liaison with ASIC, ATO and IP Australia (Trade Mark's).
I also assisted the owners in the location of and negotiation with suitable manufacturers and suppliers (both within Australia as well as Vietnam and China). as well as assisting the owners with locating a Website developer, and the setup of social media platforms.
Launch a partnership created to service garments of a men's clothing store, as well as provide dry cleaning services to the public at large.
Provision of legal and compliance assistance including liaising with the ASIC and ATO ...etc.
Located and negotiated the lease of suitable premises, and negotiation of the contract to outsource bulk cleaning requirements to a commercial laundry
Managed the transition of staff to the new organisation, and oversaw operations for the first two months of trading.
Manager Financial Reporting
BHP Billiton (Nickel West) August 2010 - February 2013The position was responsible for managing and coordinating the Financial Accounting, Tax, Fixed Assets, Payroll and Cash teams of Nickel West to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of Nickel West’s results submissions through to BHP Billiton and external advisors.
The role involved ongoing interaction with Management Accounting, as well as regularly liaising and working with Risk & Compliance, Human Resources, Projects, Environment and Shared Services departments.
Other significant aspects of the role have included being a key facilitator of change both in the areas of HR and business (IT) systems. Firstly through the expansion and recruitment brought on by the ODP (Organisational Design Protocol) project in early 2011, and later during two redundancy programs. As well as managing the transition through the implementation and bedding down of three upgrade rollouts of BHP Billiton’s in house software 1SAP over the past 2 years.
Chief Financial Officer
Finance & Systems Technology (FAST) July 2006 - January 2009The position was responsible for the management and oversight of Company Financial Management, Company Secretarial, Human Resources, Asset Management, Information Technology, Mergers & Acquisitions and management of Special projects as they arise for the group which comprised: FAST, FAST Holdings, Generation Financial Services (GFS) and Independent Mortgage Affiliates (IMA).
Significant aspects of the role included the design and implementation of a robust accounting system and improved reporting of monthly results to the board. The tendering for and implementation of a new business software platform and company website. In addition to the performance of due diligence, acquisition and integration of a smaller aggregation company “Independent Mortgage Affiliates”, as well as being the key point of contact for the supply of information to the Challenger group during their due diligence and purchase of FAST.
