About Carlota Samper Alcón:

I studied law for two years in Spain, continuing for two more years in France, specifically learning about European and international law. I studied a State exam to be in the General Administration of the State and recently I have worked training as a lawyer in a well-known law firm. After realizing that it is not my place, I have decided to embark on a new path thanks to the fact that I have been granted the Work and Holiday Visa. So, I arrive in Sydney full of hope… a new city that will surely do more than surprise me.

Experience

I like to divide my work experience into two branches.

On the one hand, those jobs that I have done while studying my degree or in summer intervals or periods of time that I was lost but that I do not like to sit still. These jobs have been: working as a waitress, as a shop assistant, as an event hostess and also as a receptionist. I have also taught extracurricular support classes to children and I have walked dogs.

On the other hand, I have work experience related to my law studies, working eight months as a pre-attorney paralegal in a law firm.

Education

Regarding my studies, I would highlight the double degree in Spanish-French law, which I studied half of the time in France. In addition, I would point up the two years that I was studying a state exam to work in the General State Administration, which, although I finally left it, it opened me the doors to continue training as a pre-lawyer in a law firm.
