Ambrose Dong

I am passionate about supporting children to become active, creative and confident learners through play-based learning and inquiry-driven experiences. Inspired by Jerome Bruner, Urie Bronfenbrenner and Reggio Emilia’s philosophy, I design curated nature-inspired learning spaces based on children’s interests and experience to enrich their understanding of the real world. I am eager to establish meaningful partnerships with families and the community, recognising their vital role in co-constructing each child’s learning journey.

I was an ECT at a Reggio Emilia-inspired center. I planned, implemented and reflected on different kinds of indoor and outdoor invitations to play that ignited children's curiosity, and developed communication skills.
