    Description

    Position: AI Engineer
    Company: Leading Digital Consultancy
    Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid)
    Expected Start Date: 20th May 2024
    Duration/End Date: 19th September 2024

    Overview:
    Our client is one of the leading digital consultancies across Australia, specializing in cutting-edge AI and GenAI solutions. They pride themselves on their innovative approach to solving complex business challenges through technology.

    This role will be based in Sydney and offers a hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will possess strong Python experience, particularly in data manipulation, along with expertise in working with various forms of data and databases. Additionally, experience in promoting code across different environments and utilizing Regex in language processing are essential. The candidate should also be proficient in calling RESTful APIs from Python code and possess strong problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manipulating data using Python for various data transformation tasks.
    • Working with different forms of data and databases to design and implement data pipelines.
    • Promoting code across development, system integration testing, and production environments.
    • Utilizing Regex for language processing tasks.
    • Calling RESTful APIs from Python code to interact with external systems.
    • Collaborating effectively within a small development team.
    • Demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and escalating issues when necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation.
    • Experience with various data formats and databases.
    • Familiarity with promoting code across different environments.
    • Proficiency in Regex for language processing tasks.
    • Experience calling RESTful APIs from Python code.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
