- Deliver a centralised recruitment approach for all business units, ensuring a timely and responsive approach, and a positive candidate/employee experience.
- Lead recruitment efforts for key positions by partnering closely with hiring managers and to understand talent needs, develop sourcing strategies, and drive the recruitment process from start to finish.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Source and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and industry associations.
- Manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment metrics, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management on recruitment activities, progress, and outcomes.
- Ensure the time to hire for each vacancy is less than 45 days (time to hire is measured from the time a hiring requisition receives final approval, through to the time an offer is made to a preferred candidate).
- Manage onboarding and offboarding activities for employees as required, ensuring onboarding documentation and exit interviews/surveys are completed in a timely fashion.
- Manage administrative tasks in relation to apprentices and trainees.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, by ensuring information is updated into relevant systems and employee-related documents are saved to the appropriate locations.
- Undertake reporting on a monthly and ad hoc basis, including monthly time to hire, turnover and FTE & headcount reports.
- Provide administrative HR support to the wider HR team and contribute to project work being undertaken by the HR team as required. Projects will include HRIS implementation and process improvement.
- Other related duties as required that are reasonably within your skillset.
- Prior experience in an internal talent acquisition role, minimum 2 years, preferably in a blue collar industry.
- Enthusiasm for talent attraction, proven full cycle recruitment ability including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates. Familiarity with different recruitment methods, tools, and platforms.

- Demonstrates initiative, autonomy and is self-motivated.
- Demonstrates the ability to provide a positive candidate care experience
- Familiar with systems such as ELMO, Success Factors, Microsoft Office and/or other HR systems and ATS.

Our client is a growing construction company with offices throughout Australia and New Zealand employing over 200 design, operational, consultancy and management team members. They are experiencing a high volume period and require an internal recruiter with at least 2 years experience to assist them for the next 2-3 months. The role is based in Welshpool.
Reporting directly to the Group People & Capability Manager, this role provides specialist talent acquisition support to the team and employees across the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle. The role has two key focus areas across the AU business units – attracting, hiring and retaining talent in a timely and responsive manner and providing administrative HR support to the HR team. This role will also provide project support to the HR team.
