- Liaise with key stakeholders to understand resourcing needs.
- Develop new and update existing role descriptions.
- Apply HR policies and frameworks in achieving business outcomes.
- Prepare HR related correspondence, briefs, reports and resource requests to a high standard.
- Support the Principal HR advisor as required to build and mature HR service delivery across the branch.
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check may be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver advice and information clearly and succinctly.
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively with people.
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with government writing styles is highly desirable.
- Previous HR experience within QLD government is highly desirable
- As this role is a temporary position, applicants must be based in QLD to be considered
