    Parramatta Location About The Company Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agencyto engage a Policy Implementation Officer.

    This position is located in their busy Parramatta NSW office for an initialcontract until 20/12/2024 About The Position Coordinate, undertake and initiate research and policy development and provide evidence-based policy analysis and specialist advice to develop high quality social policy, which drives reform and directly contributes to better outcomes for Aboriginal people including individuals, families, groups and communities.

    Duties Initiate and develop strategic policies that guide program and service development to address the needs of the client groups and manage and undertake policy projects to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of service delivery and inform policy development.

    Engage and consult with key stakeholders to identify emerging issues and develop solutions that support sound policy decisions and approaches.

    Provide leadership, guidance, support and a point of contact for business unit staff on policies that impact business unit operations.

    Deliver on multifaceted policy projects and processes
    Support and contribute to work planning and resource alignment.

    Liaise and work across Divisions and non-government stakeholders to ensure effective interface between policy development, program development, planning, service design and policy implementation.

    Requirements/Skills Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

    This role will require someone who is keen on traveling and connecting with the Aboriginal housing communities.
    Some of the locations maybe remote (travel expenses will be covered).
