- Serve as a key liaison between Origin Energy and community stakeholders to address their needs, concerns, and expectations.
- Manage and execute community investment efforts, including engagement, assessment, and processing of partnership and sponsorship applications for the Maranoa region and surrounds.
- Facilitate the successful execution of community development and local workforce initiatives, including community events, regional apprentice programs, and employee networking activities.
- Enhance local employee engagement, morale, and well-being through targeted programs.
- Provide support and guidance to employees and their families, particularly during the relocation process, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Proven experience working autonomously and as part of a team within large organisations.
- Strong track record of delivering community events and social improvement projects.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships.
- Initiative-taking with the capability to make recommendations and follow through on commitments.
- Positive, proactive professional attitude with a "can-do" approach.

As a Community Relations Officer at Origin, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong relationships with the communities in which we operate. This role involves understanding local needs, supporting our local workforce efforts, driving community investment and engagement, and ensuring transparent communication to foster positive community impact.
