Role Overview

The Despatch Coordinator efficiently manages assets and loads to meet customer demand with attention to detail and system expertise. This permanent role operates Monday to Friday, 5am to 1:30pm. Key responsibilities:

• Support driver activities to minimize disruptions
• Engage with stakeholders to enhance operational success
• Ensure delivery deadlines are met through effective communication
• Coordinate documentation and paperwork
• Facilitate shift transitions and communicate schedules
• Monitor operations and intervene as needed
• Generate transition reports to identify issues
• Undertake administrative tasks and monitor KPIs
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements

This role requires an individual with strong administrative skills, communication abilities, attention to detail, and understanding of logistics. Key qualifications:

• Previous despatch experience in Transport preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline-oriented with effective time management
• Proficiency in MS Office and WMS/TMS systems
