Details

: Applications are sought from gas network specialists with suitable experience to deliver complex regulatory outcomes. In addition to relevant technical qualifications and experience, the successful candidate must have well developed communication skills and be able to work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide clear advice to the Technical Regulator, Ministers and a range of stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing regulatory relationships with licensed and unlicensed utilities regarding their gas infrastructure and services provided. This will include scoping and delivering regulatory projects including assessment of complex applications for changes to gas infrastructure including, audits and providing clear recommendations to a range of stakeholders who do not have an engineering background. You will be required to support the delivery of policy programs and the establishment of regulatory framework that support the decommissioning of gas assets in the energy sector.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Hold a relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Emergency Management and/or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia.

A minimum of 10 years of technical expertise and experience in all levels of planning, construction, and maintenance within the field of responsibility, eg; gas distribution and transmission networks are highly desirable.
