    Job DescriptionAbout the role:


    MPK is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Project Team in the Surat Basin on a 19:9 roster.

    Reporting to the Electrical Lead, this position will serve as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert and be responsible fordeveloping and delivering engineering solutions to support the project.


    Main Duties include:
    Apply electrical technical expertise on processing and instrumentation-related projects to inform optimal component decisions and solutions (e.g.
    pumps, drives, instrumentation, meters etc.)
    Assists in formalising project objectives and specifications in collaboration with key stakeholders.
    Assists with preparation of project budgets, schedules and resource in collaboration with key stakeholders.
    Assists in preparing cost analysis on the development of new products and solutions.
    Checks and confirms the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff.
    Assist with quality assurance checks and product certification.
    Participates in engineering meetings to ensure critical next steps, owners and dates are clearly communicated for on-time project delivery.
    Coaches and develops other engineering team members;
    Develops relationships and fosters collaboration with functions including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Business Development and Operations to drive project delivery.
    Promotes a safe work environment, implements improvements and supports compliance to regulatory requirements as applicable.

    Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You:
    The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
    BEng degree in Electrical Engineering
    5 years proven construction experience in MV & LV reticulation
    5 years proven E&I experience in large O&G construction projects
    Proven ability to commission MV & LV Switchgear
    Demonstrable experience in scope negotiations and costing
    Ability to oversee & coach graduate E&I Engineers & Electricians
    Procurement/Material management
