Star of the Sea Long Day Care and Kindergarten in Wondunna is looking for a dedicated Lead Educator for a float position across all rooms. This is a permanent part-time role offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About the Role
As a successful candidate, you should hold a Diploma qualification and possess the ability to lead and guide our team of Educators in inspiring children to learn through engaging activities. Your role involves collaborating with families and colleagues to develop tailored programs that cater to the children's interests and needs. Your enthusiasm for nurturing the growth and development of primary school-aged children along with your talent for establishing meaningful connections will be invaluable.

Our Centre
Located at Star of the Sea Primary School, our facility welcomes children from six weeks old and is licensed to care for up to 75 children. You can watch a video tour of our centre on YouTube for a closer look.

Job Requirements

• Diploma qualification recognized by ACECQA.
• Experience working as a Lead Educator preferred.
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & National Quality Standards.
