The opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Manager to join our growing Audit & Assurance division. This role will work closely with our leadership team, and we are looking for someone that is seeking a genuine career growth opportunity. With an existing portfolio including mature privately-owned businesses, quality not-for-profit entities, as well as small to medium sized listed and unlisted public companies, your focus will be to provide leadership for the team of high calibre individuals in our Audit division.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain close client relationships
- Oversee the delivery of first-class client service
- Be looking to improve our audit methodology and practices
- Be willing to mentor and develop our more junior team members
- Actively pursue new business opportunities
- Have a continuous improvement mindset
- Preparation, planning of audits with some executing and testing of designated Audits alongside your team
- Report on and review of audit findings
- Write up of recommendations
- Presentation of audit findings to various stakeholders
- Ensure compliance of internal controls and compliance standards
Your sound technical abilities coupled with a highly collaborative leadership style will set you apart as an exceptional candidate for this position.
About you:
- CA qualifications and a relevant degree
- 5+ years Audit experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage and develop a high-performing team
- A team focused and collaborative approach
