    About the opportunity
    Reporting directly to the Senior Merchandise Inventory Planner, this role aims to support the wider Supply Chain team in boosting sales and enhancing capital outcomes by optimizing inventory and product lifecycle management, while upholding service standards.
    Working closely with the Senior Merchandise Inventory Planner, the main focus will be on efficiently managing inventory within the Uniform portfolio, adhering to set budgets and KPIs.
    This is a pivotal role that involves extensive collaboration with various stakeholders across the organization, including state operational networks, retail, warehousing and fulfillment, category management, finance, and external suppliers.
    What you'll deliver with us
    • Forecasting demand and overseeing inventory related to the Uniforms portfolio across operations, retail networks, and team members.
    • Daily management of warehouse and store stocks while optimizing the use of working capital.
    • Assisting in preparing annual sales, margin, and inventory budgets for Uniforms.
    • Supporting Planning activities across Merchandise Inventory when necessary.
    • Contributing to the implementation of process enhancements to improve Post's inventory and product lifecycle management capabilities, and achieving key inventory, cost, and service targets.
    • Providing operational network support with Uniforms fulfillment queries, store ranging, grading, in stocks, and stock availability.
    About you
    You should have proven experience in understanding and managing merchandise planning functions, processes, and systems that facilitate supply chain, fulfillment, and inventory distribution, including replenishment and allocation strategies and systems.
    You must be adept at building relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and be capable of influencing and advising external suppliers to achieve desired outcomes.
    You'll also need
    • 2 to 4 years of relevant merchandise planning and/or unit planning experience in a multi-category retailing environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple product portfolios.
    • Advanced Skills in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
    • Experience working in a multi-system operational IT environment, with SAP experience being essential.
