    Our client is an Australian-owned and operated automotive aftermarket company specialising in the manufacture, import, and supply of a comprehensive range of underbody parts and services.

    Their expertise extends across various sectors, including passenger vehicles, performance vehicles, 4WDs, trucks, buses, as well as agricultural and mining equipment.

    They are seeking a dedicated Sales/Parts Interpreter to join their team in Townsville. The ideal candidate will have a background in Diesel/HV, automotive administration and possess previous experience in a similar role.

    However, they also provide product training for the right candidate. A mechanical understanding is crucial for success in this role, as it involves customer interactions, preparing quotes, and handling warehouse duties when necessary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate sales enquiries and prepare service quotes
    • Utilise knowledge of automotive parts to accurately quote service costs and time estimates
    • Provide excellent customer service by supporting a diverse customer base and exceeding their expectations
    • Build and maintain customer relationships through effective communication and product support
    • Handle customer enquiries via telephone calls, emails, and over-the-counter service, providing technical support as required
    • Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders
    • Liaise with workshop staff to ensure

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a automotive or similar role preferred
    • Mechanical understanding and knowledge of automotive parts
    • Automotive administration knowledge
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to coordinate sales tasks and prepare accurate quotes
    • Flexibility to assist with warehouse duties when required
    • A forklift license would be an advantage
