    Data Center Customer Operations Engineer - Career Transition Program

    About the role:
    The Customer Operations Engineer role involves working in our Data Centers as part of a rotating shift team, ensuring customers receive top-notch technical service as needed.

    Responsibilities include providing first-level support for facility alarms and issues, performing housekeeping tasks to upkeep the Data Center, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide Technical Support services including Data Centre operations, equipment maintenance, and service provisioning
    • Support Disaster Recovery drills and invocations
    • Install and de-install customer cross-connections
    • Perform Smart Hands and tape backup Services
    • Warehouse management
    • Report facility alarms
    • Handle incidents, troubleshoot problems, and escalate when necessary
    • Supervise vendors working within data center premises
    • Maintain accurate records, document issues, and prepare reports
    • Demonstrate quality workmanship and ensure data center cleanliness

    Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Certificate in Telecommunication or IT related field (preferred)
    • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
    • Positive attitude towards work
    • Ability to follow processes efficiently with attention to detail and customer service focus
    • Fast learner, capable of working autonomously and collaboratively
    • Open to graduates and those new to the career field
