Permanent Full Time position for a Structural Workshop Supervisor within a well established high volume steel fabrication business based in the Whyalla & Eyre Peninsula region,
For a Workshop supervisor, Steel workshop supervisor, or a fabrication workshop supervisor interested in leading and managing daily workshop operations.

• Requires workshop supervisor experience within a high volume fabrication environment
• Salary depends on experience
• Whyalla & Eyre Peninsula Region,
  Flexible working roster, with the option of fly in fly out or drive in drive out upon negotiation.

With the arrival of their new automated steel processing machinery which has state of the art technology to produce fully processed steel members and plate ready for fabrication, your next employer requires an experienced Structural Steel Supervisor to oversee their Structural division.

A normal day includes

• Collaborating with the operations manager to coordinate the flow of structural steel in the workshop.
• Manage projects and activities of all trades people within the structural division
• Complete workshop administration work and record keeping
• ensure that all work is performed to a high standard
• Abide by safety and environment guidelines to meet the Australian standards
• Contributing to continuous improvement and optimization of systems & processes

You will need

• Supervisor experience in a workshop environment
• Trade qualifications (Boilermaker qualified is desirable)
• Leadership skills, customer service focus, and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be a permanent resident or Australian citizen
