    Our opportunity

    As Community Programs Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing a vibrant and resilient community through programming, partnerships, facilitating community participation and other community strengthening initiatives. The ultimate aim of the role and delivery of Community Development strategies is to deliver exemplar social sustainability outcomes in line with Mirvac's strategy for net positive community legacy, enhance Mirvac's competitive advantage and brand credibility through the development of sustainable, empowered and resilient communities.

    This is a casual position; hours may include evening or weekends.

    Your responsibilities will include:
  • Plan, organise, manage and run community events and workshops.
  • Support the delivery of a year-round calendar of programs, services and events designed to activate Olivine's community spaces, including Shared Space, open spaces and parks, and focus on promoting community connection, happiness, wellbeing and quality of life.
  • Coordinate, prepare, maintain and monitor of all marketing campaigns.
  • Event delivery including set up, monitoring, logistics, registration and pack down.
  • Preparation of communications and collateral with information for the community and stakeholders.
  • Network and partner with community members, groups and organisation to leverage off existing partnerships and capacity build to improve outcomes and reach more people.
  • Engage positively and constructively with community members.
  • Management of event bookings, registrations and HSE documentation.
  • Prepare event summary reporting.

    To be successful in this role you will have experience working in events and in a community facing role, including community programming.

    You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of people.

    A Current Drivers Licence and access to a personal vehicle is required (appropriate compensation for work use will be forthcoming). All of these attributes are preferred, if you think you may be the right fit for the role please still apply.
