The Stroke Research Unit actively participates in global multicentre drug trials and conducts unit-based research with a dedicated and skilled team of medical practitioners and nursing staff.
The unit focuses on acute therapy and secondary stroke prevention trials, emphasizing early drug intervention to minimize brain cell damage post-stroke and prevention strategies such as blood pressure management and new anti-platelet agents.
