About the role
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative clinician to join our Peter James Centre team on a fixed term, part time basis. This position will suit a speech pathologist with a relevant clinical background in rehabilitation and geriatric evaluation and management (GEM) services, and demonstrating strong leadership, supervision, communication and quality improvement skills.
You will enjoy a diverse adult caseload managing a range of speech, language and swallowing disorders delivered across the rehabilitation and GEM care streams. As part of the multidisciplinary team you will work closely with clients and their families. You will also work as part of the larger Eastern Health speech pathology team and be supported with regular supervision, opportunities for professional development and undertake student supervision, guided by our learning and teaching program. We also offer in-house learning pathways for VFSS, tracheostomy and FEES.
