- Perform medication reconciliation processes, resolve medication related issues, provide medicine information and counsel patients
- Ensure appropriate medicine usage through implementation of hospital policy, and through liaison with medical and nursing staff
- Participate in intern and student programs
- Initiate and participate in clinical pharmacy research projects
- A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent plus current and full AHPRA registration without restrictions as a Pharmacist
- General pharmacy knowledge and experience relevant to the position
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills
- A keen interest in research or continuous learning, and the ability to support junior staff to develop

Our department provides a comprehensive pharmacy service to all patients of the hospital. A high degree of specialised service is provided in clinical areas, medicines information, antimicrobial stewardship, quality use of medicine, research and clinical trials.
