    Description

    This role will suit someone with an eye for detail who has worked in large, complex environments previously. With a high weekly volume of transactions and international reports this will grow your skillset and add real value to your CV.

    Responsibilities:

    Reporting into the senior corporate accountant and financial controller you will assist in a range of finance tasks.

    • Monthly reports, journals and accruals.
    • Balance sheet reconciliations, cost allocations and inventory management.
    • Process credit card payments.
    • Assess and post bad debt provisions.
    • Work on monthly group reports and commentary.
    • Assist in monthly FX exposure reports.
    • Approve banking activities.
    • work on tax and BAS returns for the division.
    • Cover team members and ad hoc tasks as required by the team.

    Experience:

    • CA/CPA qualification is a must.
    • Experience working in high volume environments and being hands on.
    • 4-6 years of accounting and finance experience.
    • Public practice candidates will require CFO advisory or secondment experience.
    • Peoplesoft, Cognos, sunsystems or Epicor will also be an advantage.
