Aged Care Registered Nurse | Residential Aged Care

Are you an experienced and compassionate Aged Care Registered Nurse seeking an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the elderly?

Join our esteemed client, offering night shifts, either part-time or full-time positions located 10 minutes from Coolangatta

About the Role:
In this rewarding role, the Aged Care Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to elderly residents within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide person-centered care to residents based on their individual needs and preferences.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
Monitor residents' health conditions and promptly report any changes.
Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans.
Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care and progress.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.
6 months previous experience within a Residential Aged Care Facility (Australia)
Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of aged care regulations and standards.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with the elderly.
