    We now have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor at our main distribution hub in Clayton, working Monday to Friday, to oversee our afternoon shift crew (12pm – 8:30pm).
    ABOUT THE ROLE
    Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will utilize your extensive experience working with warehousing KPI's and be an expert in implementing effective warehouse management procedures.
    Daily responsibilities will include:
    • Managing the warehousing operations from receipting, dispatching, invoice and timesheet approvals, ordering to the safe storage of parts
    • Leading a successful team, mentoring and coaching against KPI's
    • Staff training and induction
    • Maintaining a safe work environment with a focus on continuous improvement
    • Supporting team members to deliver healthy utilization rates
    • Maintenance of all Warehouse plant and equipment
    • Ensuring operational policies and procedures are followed for productivity
    • Establishing Contamination Control and safety, health & environment culture
    ABOUT YOU
    You will come from a robust warehousing background with experience and enthusiasm for training, motivating and inspiring a team.
    • Experience in warehouse management procedures and best practice
    • Ability to lead a diverse group
    • Mechanical knowledge of Cat parts is highly regarded
    • Ability to drive process improvement initiatives
    • Understanding of "Chain of Responsibility"
    • Strong time management skills for multi-tasking
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain or Business highly regarded
    • Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
