    Description

    Financial Strategy & Projects Manager | Oil & GasWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Strategy & Projects Manager to join our team.

    This newly established role will play a pivotal role in driving essential growth projects beyond regular "BAU" finance operations, ensuring strategic alignment, financial viability, and effective execution.

    As a key liaison between finance and the C-Suite, the successful candidate will provide critical insights into the financial implications of strategic decisions and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to support our ambitious growth agenda.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Lead the financial evaluation and analysis of strategic growth projects, providing insights and recommendations to senior management;
    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives;
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement projects;
    Develop and maintain robust project governance frameworks to ensure alignment with strategic goals and financial targets;
    Provide regular updates to the C-Suite on project performance, financial metrics, and potential areas for optimisation; and
    Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process improvement, and revenue enhancement across the business.

    Qualifications:
    Qualifications in an Accounting discipline and CA or CPA qualified;
    Proven experience in financial strategy and project management within heavy industry;
    Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data;
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; and
    Proactive mindset and ability to drive change and innovation.
