    Description

    Our client is seeking a dynamic Workshop Stores/Purchasing team member eager to take on diverse responsibilities to join our team in Maddington.

    Pay rate: $30 - $38 p/h depending on experience
    Shift Pattern - TBC
    Location -     Maddington

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handling packing and unpacking duties for deliveries to sites or suppliers within the yard or workshop.
    • Establishing and overseeing a stock item system to maintain precise stock levels.
    • Securing competitive pricing from suppliers and handling order management.
    • Generating essential documentation, including SDS's and Site approval paperwork.
    • Coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and company leadership.
    • Monitor and manage stock levels.
    • Research and identify optimal products and suppliers based on value, delivery timelines, and quality.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Current Forklift Certification.
    • Minimum 2 years of proven purchasing experience in mining or heavy industries.
    • Demonstrated success in sourcing, selecting, and negotiating purchasing agreements for quality, price, terms, delivery, and service.
    • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects concurrently.
    • Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Up-to-date National Police Clearance.
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications and computer literacy.
