About the Technology and Digital Programs group
The Technology and Digital Programs (TDP) group is home to the largest in-sourced ICT workforce in Australian federal government.

TDP is the engine room for Services Australia, maintaining a vast range of technical and digital infrastructure to make sure that Australians can access government services, at any time and from anywhere.

The Infrastructure and Operations division maintains national critical infrastructure for Services Australia and across government.

We deliver a robust, secure, and resilient ICT environment so Australian citizens can access government services 24x7.The Core Infrastructure branch delivers network, telecommunications, gateway, data centre facilities, cloud connectivity and computing (mid-range and mainframe) and storage infrastructure.

Our cutting-edge mainframe infrastructure is the largest in the country, supporting the Centrelink, Medicare, and Child Support programs.

Our network covers more than 1,000 locations across Australia and supports secure network and gateway services for 11 other government agencies.

The End User Computing branch delivers secure, reliable, accessible, and adaptable modern services by remaining on the forefront of technology to provide the right capability for our end users.

This includes designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting solutions and operations for more than 60,000 users over 500 locations around Australia.

About the role
You'll be responsible for delivering a mix of priority technology projects and business-as-usual activities.
Your expertise will enable you to provide high-quality support to maintain efficient and effective operations in your work area.
You'll need to have strong leadership and technical capabilities to lead, manage, inspire, and motivate teams.
You'll foster collaboration and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

You'll need to exercise independence and effective decision-making based on high-level judgement and subject matter expertise, with consideration of wider implications.

Your work will be performed under the general guidance of senior executive management.
