    What's the Role:
    You will lead the global manufacturing finance team and play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and insightful reporting to inform business decision-makers. You will partner with the General Manager of Manufacturing on strategic planning projects and activities. Together, you will engage in strategy and business development activities to foster growth and innovation within our operations, enhance flexibility, reduce costs, and improve the efficiency of our operations to drive business success.

    You will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing costs and overheads to optimize resource allocation and financial outcomes. You will assist with large capex business case submissions, project monitoring, and conducting post-implementation reviews on selected projects.

    The identification and delivery of process improvements, insightful reporting, and task automation will be key to optimising the team's output. You will also contribute to building and delivering financial awareness and education programs that are essential in increasing the financial acumen of our key stakeholders.

    Additionally, you will ensure your time management provides flexibility to address ad hoc business analysis and reporting requirements as they arise. Our agility in responding to evolving business needs ensures that we continue delivering value across all manufacturing finance aspects.

    As a Key Technical Criteria:

    • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or related fields.
    • Accounting Certification (CPA, CA).
    • Experience in a heavy engineering/manufacturing environment.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting within complex supply chains
    • Product Costing, Manufacturing Variance Reporting
    • Team Management


    The role is based in Brisbane.
