Job Summary:

Reporting to Parts Operations & Distribution Supervisor Australia, the candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient control and administration of all stock related counting and adjustment activity.

The key measurables of the position is to deliver scheduled counts in a timely manner and to a high quality with accurate reporting. The need for accurate and timely reporting requires an experienced "hands-on" Inventory Controller with proven knowledge of inventory systems with sound mathematical acumen.

Your Impact

Coordinate the printing, parts location search, recording of counts and book stock values and reconciliation for all count cards daily or as required by predetermined systems or ad hoc count requests for the Melbourne warehouse facility.
Count records filed in a systematic manner and records retrieved for audit purpose.
Direct and coordinate count activities with warehouse staff assigned to count activities.
Support the warehouse administration team in managing warehouse systems that control warehouse Inventory and accuracy i.e. Modula storage tower systems.

Your Experience and Qualifications

3+ years of experience within Warehouse Operations or like industry involving inventory or stock control and management of available resources.
A high attention to detail is required and the ability to read reference material to identify parts.
Experience in using ERP systems, WMS systems (preferably Manhattan) & Parts identification systems (preferably Epsilon).
Experience and statistical skills in generating performance reports.

Key Performance Indicators:

Daily count quantities completed as required.
Reports generated and/or maintained.
Accurate execution of stock adjustments where there is a reported stock variance.
