    Description

    Executive Level 1 - Assistant Director, External Data Partnerships and Capability

    The External Data Partnerships and Capability is seeking an enthusiastic and engaged individual to join their team.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • managing existing internal projects including related steering committees and contracts – currently Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies; End of Life, COVID-19 Recovery and Cancer Pathways projects

    • managing the relationship with Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre and overseeing department's involvement in Digital Health Cooperative Research Centre projects

    • assisting with procurement, contract management and management of funding sources for the branch, as required

    • assisting with the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the department, across the APS and in the health and aged care sectors

    • developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders around complex and sensitive issues

    • representing the Department in a variety of forums, including working groups and committee meetings

    • preparing written material including briefs, agenda papers, presentations for a range of audiences.
