The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital is a top-notch specialist hospital focused on eye and ear care throughout Victoria. As the only specialist hospital in Australia dedicated to eye, ear, nose, and throat care, the Eye and Ear has been delivering sensory care for over 160 years. With nearly 90 different outpatient clinics, the hospital diagnoses, monitors, and treats vision and hearing issues, offering a 24-hour emergency service for eye and ear, nose, and throat conditions. Annually, the hospital caters to almost 200,000 patients, including 136,000 outpatients, 42,000 emergency cases, and 14,000 inpatients. A recent major redevelopment has enhanced the hospital's internal structure, ensuring improved access for patients, visitors, and staff.

PROVISIONAL ANAESTHESIA FELLOWS
3 X Fulltime Fixed Term - Commencing February 2025 (flexible start date) or August 2025
6-month appointments will be considered
About the Role: The accredited Provisional Fellowship in Anaesthesia is suitable for post-specialist qualification doctors, final year trainees of the ANZCA, or advanced training years for international applicants. The role includes participation in educational/research activities, audit, and involvement in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives within the Department. No on-call duties or after-hours work are required.
Salary and employment conditions align with the current AMA Victoria Doctors-in-Training Agreement 2022-2026.
